How to Close Customs Declaration Document

Customs declaration documents can be closed either manually or automatically for details follow the below steps. 

1. Manually close Customs Delcaration document

open customs declaration document in change mode, and from the menu bar click on EDIT > close document.   

2. Automatically close the document.   

If you want to automate closing activities by last communication from customs authority or broker through “I” Message. then it needs to be activated in the “I” message like the above screenshot.   

Note:- 

A best practice is not to close a declaration document unless it is not any business requirement because once it is closed then the user can not update anything in that document after the closing of that document.
